Penguin Drop Caps

bright Penguin classics

Aren't these books pretty?

Penguin Drop Caps is a series of 26 books, one for each letter of the alphabet (Austen, Bronte, etc.)

Penguin is the master of putting fun new covers on classic books. These ones made me want to pick up the slightly intimidating Middlemarch by George Elliot, just because the copy was so bright & cheery.

I'm a sucker for good old books in good new covers.

  1. Those are so cool ... a little bummed that the G is Lord of the Flies.

    1. Same. I'm always tempted to pick up new versions of books I already have & love. xx
